The purpose of La Porte River of God Church is to assist and promote healing by presenting biblical truths in a way that hurting people [such as ex-offenders, the needy, and un-churched] can become whole individuals who love our LORD, themselves, and their families. We want to help instill the confidence needed for these individuals to go back into the world and reach out to others who are hurting or without God. The Bible tells us to “Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature.” Our members pledge to fulfill this command by giving ourselves to the service of our LORD through the operation of the Holy Spirit, and submitting to God’s direction in a way that we shall minister the Good News of Christ through every avenue made available unto us by God. |
